My son is almost 2 and still every once in a while breastfeeds. (Mostly at nap time/bedtime) Recently since we’ve found out I was prego my son has been all over me constantly! No breaks! And wanting to be on the boob all the time! He’s throwing tantrums for everything and if mom isn’t the one doing it for him it’s not ok!
Welp my question is what helped weening baby? Is there something besides milk that maybe he’ll like just as much as booby milk.?
He’s not the biggest fan of whole milk.

I'm having this problem too. I had the same problem with my daughter and THE ONLY way she weaned was when I went to the hospital to have my son, she stayed two nights with my granny while I was in the hospital. Lol my granny said she threw fits until she would fall asleep. It was bad. Hopefully my son is easier to wean🙏

We’re your fine breastfeeding and your pregnancy went ok? My last pregnancy was shit! Always in pain due to me having a Subchorionic hemorrhage. So I’m just nervous about everything! I have a drs appointment next week but in the mean time I wanted to ask around...

yes, I did just fine with my previous pregnancy and this one. I'm completely exhausted 24/7 with this one though, I think if I could wean him I would have more energy. It's just gonna be tough. Both doctors I've seen think it's great I'm breastfeeding still and think it's fine for me to continue to do so until the end of my third trimester. It can cause contractions later on but I never had that problem with my last, I actually had to be induced at 40w3d with him. Lol

I put pasties on my nipples for about 4 days when I took the boob away from my baby. We’ve successfully been boob free for almost 2 months. On occasions he’ll still try to nurse since I have yet to dry up but I’ve been very strict on not letting him nurse.

I get so much pressure to make her stop nursing but it’s so difficult when I’m the one caring for and with her 24-7 😣
