Well breastfeeding was nice while it lasted. But babygirl has a dairy allergy and it’s nearly impossible for me to completely remove dairy from my diet. I’m so sad and I feel terrible. People really try to make you feel bad for not breastfeeding. Well at least I tried
Don't feel bad. I was in the same boat. My kiddo was diagnosed with a dairy allergy when she was 9 months. By that time it was hard for me to eliminate it from my diet and wean kiddo. She was attached to my breast since it was the only soothing mechanism that she had through all the pain of having a dairy allergy...anyway. I kept eating dairy and breastfeeding and I truly believe it helped her overcome her allergy by the time she was 2
All that matters is you are not stressed out and your baby is fed. She already got all the benefits of the colostrum.
