Hubby’s test came back negative. His symptoms started like on Thursday and he took the test on Saturday so for sure the test would have detected the virus if it was positive right? Doctor said he can come back home but we’ve decided he will still wear a mask. Now he will have to go to his doctor and get some test done to see what is going on with him.

I've read about people testing negative for a while and then their antibodies test positive. I've also heard there's bad batches of tests out there making everyone test positive.

@ethanandkayleensmommy, Well if he's going to his doctor to see what's going on I would wait. If he doesn't get answers from his doctor i would have him get tested again.

he actually went to the er and is getting tested right now. They did a blood test, x rays and ultrasound. He’s waiting for results as of now.

Ask to have the antibody test done. Hoping the rest of his testing comes back ok and that this was just an anomaly in the venture of his health. How is the lump? Did they take a biopsy????

@ethanandkayleensmommy Will continue to pray for him/you. I don't understand why they didn't do a needle biopsy. When my aunt found a lump that was the very first thing they did following a breast exam. Then when that came back positive for breast cancer they did mammogram and other tests to see how bad it was before treatments began. I'm so sorry he and your family are going through this.

he’s out and all the tests cane back normal. They gave him antibiotics for the lump and if it doesn’t go down they will need a piece of it to test it. He was told it was safe to come back home.
