My cousins lost 2 babies

On her third pregnancy, same thing, couldn’t keep anything down & the only way she gained weight was smoking......not that I’m condoning ANYONE smoking, but you asked and this is a true story. Doc said whatever helps her actually gain weight

I don’t, but my mom did. Yes back in the summer of 1979 my mom had HG and a RH issue carrying me and her OB told her he would rather her smoke weed than drink wine. My mom chose to smoke. Am I okay? Maybe a little adhd but I’m smart and sharp. Then again today’s weed is waaaay stronger than in 1979...

There was a study started in Jamaica years ago about this as well. The US pulled their money out of it because it was showing pregnant mothers drinking cannabis tea for nausea wasn’t nearly as harmful as once thought. The fear was due to the US and their reefer madness in the 20th century prohibiting marijuana and hemp because the industries were too promising financially and could’ve put oil and cotton out of business.

I got a little long winded to say, I personally wouldn’t do it but to say whether it’s good or bad is skeptical. I do know we all have an endocannabinoid system and marijuana can support it, but no one is positively researching that because it’s a schedule 1 drug which is absurd. There’s just not enough research to really say either way. Which is frustrating because I’m all about herbal remedies. I hope your friend figures it all out

My PCP and midwife both recommend I use cannabis.

Regardless of marijuana use, smoking anything is not recommended during pregnancy.

I don't know if the concern is so much about smoking weed while pregnant, or just smoking while pregnant. Marijuana effects can be achieved without smoking, so is it the marijuana that's bad for you, or the smoking? Idk, I think weed in pregnancy has to be tackled in these two parts

I never smoked with my son and he was premature and I had a minor stroke I smoked with my daughter and she came out just fine mad loving smart and full term. Everyone has there own opinions on it. But that autism study is bull shit in my eyes. I’m also pro weed for anything and think it can help with a lot prescription pills are way worse in my opinion and I believe weed is more a natural way especially if you grow it yourself

My cousin was honest w her doctor about it and they just told her to stop by the time she’s 30 weeks because the hospital will open up a cps investigation. We were all super upset about it . Her baby daddy’s mom told her “smoke it’s fine I did it When I was pregnant w said baby daddy and he’s fine !” But said baby daddy is probably one of the most ..... not smart people I know. Lol she regrets it now that she stopped and such . She’s due any day and worried but can’t be taken back now

Yea mine said the same thing I couldn’t gain shit they had to put bags of fluid in me all the time it helped so much I smoked the whole time he was my biggest go figure the other two I didn’t smoke with were scrawny... they didn’t care it’s nobody’s business personally it won’t hurt it there’s no proof but to each there own it was a life saver

An ex friend of mine smoked weed her whole entire pregnancy & her son has autism... was it caused from smoking, I have no idea but I wouldn’t risk it.
