Absolutely everything! I'd buy that house if I could, so manh wonderful memories, that helped shape me into the women I am today.

Only knew my grandparents on my paternal side for a short time but I can remember absolutely every little detail of their house. I wanted to buy the house when my grandma got put in a home but my bio dad wouldn't allow me to. I was too young to realize that he didn't have the power to do that but it got sold and destroyed. 😭 I don't know where he is anymore it's been 8 years... If he is still alive he is almost 80.

Wow so sorry about that , I hope you are able to find him and talk to him.

The last time I spoke to him he told me to call him on Sunday. I did. I had an event on the following Wednesday that was very important to me and had invited him. I called and called and called. Left messages. Called for a month and called one day and the phone was disconnected. My number is still the same. The sad thing is that he did not raise me and did some really terrible, to most unforgivable things when I was small and to others I knew growing up, and I forgave him and was building what I thought was a good relationship with him. Then he just up and moved. My father who raised me, my stepfather, passed away five years ago. He was the only true "earthly father" I ever had. But now that I am getting older I am realizing how little I know about my bio-dad. It would be nice to get some answers. But the memory I have of his parents and their house are detailed though few. Thank you for the sentiments. I struggle some days with my emotions over my messed up parents. They were all screwed up. Haven't seen or spoken to my mom in years due to her increasingly toxic ways and have days it's hard but most of the time I am grateful bc I finally have the life I always was meant to. Things work out for the best in the end.

Sorry for late response was handling some things. I don't blame you , I only talk to my dad sometimes because he was never really there and has very toxic ways.. Some ppl are best loved from a distance. I know everything happens for a reason & it's great that you're ok despite that all and I hope you're staying strong. Once I talk to my husband and clean the house I'll re read everything you said to get a better understanding.

His kitchen mostly. I can vividly remember the kitchen table with the rotary phone on the wall. Also he was always smoking a cigar. I still love the scent because it reminds me of him. I never met my grandmother because she passed before I was born. That’s my moms dad.
My dads parents I remember always getting those lifesavers books. U know what I’m talking about? Where it has like 5-6 rolls of different lifesavers attached to what looks like a little book? Also my grandmother always had iced oatmeal cookies and she would always play the organ for us. Damn this just took me down memory lane. Thanks for that. All good memories there

I also remember my pop pop and uncle, he lived with him, always eating grapefruits. I don’t know why those images are burned into my brain lol. I hate grapefruits

Depends which house lol
My dads side I would play nintendo 64 with my family. Mostly Mario kart. The kitchens decor was cows. My grandpa would always make me cooked broccoli and cauliflower with melted cheese. My favorite.
My moms side, her dad lived with us until he passed. Amazing man. He was a carpenter. He built me these really cool play houses. There was at least five of them around the yard. All the kids on the school bus wanted to be my friend 😂 but My moms mom (they were separated) house had this sunroom type thing in the back and we would always eat dinner back there. Her husband would always make everybody sit at the table until everyone was done eating. I hated that still to this day. After dinner we would walk to the park.
