I just found out that I am pregnant and although I am excited I am extremely overwhelmed and having anxiety. Mainly because my now 15 month old baby will be 2ish and I’m scared he will start sleep regression and start behaving badly for attention because he hasn’t had long with me before another child come in the picture. I’m definitely having mommy guilt. Any moms who had babies within a year apart or shorter have any advice for me ? Thanks ladies 😊
I forgot to mention I also homeschool my oldest child. This is the second year for us and the beginning of the first year was hard for a few months.

I got pregnant the same month my middle baby turned 1. She turned two in may and my baby just turned 6 months. It hasn’t been bad at all. Of course you have moments where they are both crying, they both want to be held/carried or need something but it’s doable. Terrible 2s have hit us. Some days she is extra terrible 😂😂 but we get through the day. She is hell on wheels and would be without a baby sister so hey 🤷🏽♀️. She’s an amazing big sister. She really loves her sister so much and I wouldn’t change it. Everything will be fine momma. Kids are resilient, they adapt well and everything will work out.

Thank you so much! This made me smile and gave me so much hope. Your little one definitely sounds like my baby boy lol. I guess anything new is always nerve racking. But I definitely feel better now.

I had my second son in June and my first son turns 2 in October.
It's going better than I expected and my first son is so easy going that the time we do get together doesnt have to be doing big extravagant activities.
I just try my best to set up a show or a snack right before I have to feed so that they have something to do and then go about the rest of the day.
My first son doesnt seem interested in potty training yet, my daughter wasnt until after 2 but I wont rush him. The older my last baby is the easier itll be haha.
Everything will work out just fine, dont worry too much!

Thank you so much for sharing with me. I am definitely feeling like I will be able to do this. I always let me nerves get the best of me and I over think. My baby seems to be interested in potty training but he’s definitely not consistent with it. Like you said I don’t push it but it would be great if he starts soon.

Yes it’s very real ! I remember the first I left my oldest at home to go to the nail salon and I cried and came back home because I felt like I shouldn’t have left him to do something for myself. Thank you so much !

I've had all of mine roughly 2 years apart. I found my first two were the hardest to juggle because my oldest acted out a lot for attention and it was overwhelming. My third coming into the picture was great. I took time to spend with everyone when the baby napped and my older two wanted to be helpers. It does get easier as the baby gets older and can do more.

@luv_2b_amomma yes, but I typically tried to distract my oldest with a show or some tablet time while I got the younger ones down. Then we would have some quality time with just the two of us with whatever he wanted to do.

that’s what I do with my oldest now. Or sometimes he helps with getting the baby ready to naps and sleep time. I’m not to worried about him my baby is very very demanding and I gets a little jealous when my oldest son or dad hugs me so it scares me to think how he will react with a baby. And he’s still breast-fed. Do you think I should start to ween him ?

I would wait until you're closer to if it's something you're comfortable with. Or if you're ready, do it now. My youngest is still breastfeeding. Baby is due at the end of December and I plan to wean him in October.
