Has anyone else had a child that literally got a fever every other month? Since flu season. we took her to the ER in October for fever of 104 they tested her and it was influenza B, then her and her brother got sick right after Christmas, then we took her to the ER in February again for a high fever they said influenza A that time then again in April and they said influenza B. Then in June she had thrush and a fever for 3 days they said if it didn't go away in two days to bring her back. Now she's got a fever again currently 101-102 and its the only symptom she has. It's just stressful and I feel bad for my baby. I'm going to bring it up to her pediatrician but she just had blood work done and everything came out good. She is teething and I had an urgent care doctor and their dental doctor tell me that teething could cause a fever but I thought that wasn't a thing. 🤔

My son ran a fever every time he was teething...his pediatrician always said teething when no other symptoms just teeth and swollen gums.

Then maybe thats whats going on with her 🤔 when they checked her gums they said they were white and she had a tooth wanting to poke through. She's been sticking her finger on that side and gumming it and drooling.

yeah I know they say they don't but nothing else was ever found other then a new tooth I hope your little feels better soon

Yes, before this pandemic began. Now that they are home all the time with me we have been illness free since they recovered from being sick in March. It's better for them to get sick before school age to build up their immune system but it sure does stink big time!! So sorry your little isn't well. Big hugs!!

Glad it wasn't just her! Thank you my husband's an essential worker so he's still out there and if we have to go to the store or something we are super careful. Its tough I hope the fever breaks soon.

My husband, too! I'm so grateful I had the option of taking the year off. I miss the paycheck but it wasn't worth the risk and I'm in an essential travel position so very high risk of bringing something home without the time off. Do your best, keep things as clean as possible, and pray often. Prayer is our best medicine in the line of defense along with "common sense" measures of hygiene and precaution. Hugs mama! You're not alone .

Yikes! Do your kids go to daycare? When my daughter was in preschool she was constantly sick. My medical bill last year was through the roof. But now that they’ve been home with me nonstop since March, she never gets sick. My son has been sick a couple times but my daughter not since December. I think there’s just a time in babies lives where they get sick a lot. They’re building up their immune systems.

No! My son used to go to the little gym which was like weekly classes for gymnastics and socializing and he did bring something home twice that she caught. He doesn't go anymore since the pandemic started. I've read that to everyone says she will have the strongest immune system when she's older l. My son got sick here and there but I feel like not as much. Though I do remember a time between 1 and 2 where he got like 3 random fevers and I was like what the heck! Lol just extra stressful because of the pandemic
