Ehh i just feel so emotional right now it so hard to lose a parent i only have my mom i missed my dad so much that it hurts i missed his voice his hugs his text messages his calls. The last time i saw my dad was on Christmas i made him a cup of his name but i gave it to my bro it hurts so much i cant even explain how my heart feels i feel so empty without my dad 😭💔

I'm so sorry! I can relate. 5.5 years since my papa passed and mom is living but no longer part of my life since.

Yea it never gets better really I lost both at 15 ..six months apart it just fades not heals 😩

Yeah I completely understand. I lost my dad 22 years ago. He died 2 weeks before my 21st birthday. He's officially been gone longer than I knew him. I still miss my daddy, my biggest regret in life ia that my daddy never got a chance to know me as an adult, or meet my husband or his only granddaughter.
I'm grateful that my mom is still alive, and we are very close, but I miss my dad and always will.

I get this. My mother has been gone 12 years in December. The last time I spoke with her I knew it was the last time I would hear her voice. She was gone 6 days later. My mom wasn’t the best mom tbh, but I still have positive memories that help me cope. It took months of grief therapy to start healing. Give yourself grace, this isn’t easy
