I’m getting married in October in a hotel. Our events organiser is currently still on furlough but emailed me back to say the government guidelines aren’t clear so they still don’t know what they can and can’t do.
As it currently stands in the announcements, we’re allowed a reception of 30 people. But depending on the venues and if they can safely fit 30 in with distancing.
There’s basic legal bits for the vows, no extras or all the nice stuff.
I’m really hoping it’s going to change a little and increase to 50 so we can have our nieces and nephews and grandparents there xx

we’re not planning on staying for the evening, just the meal. There is enough space in the room for distancing. My sisters will all be on the same table with their partners but distance between the separate households. Same with our parents, same table but distance between them.
We have 7 kids between us so we will all be on the same table xx

Mine was supposed to be yesterday but as we were unsure how thinfs were going to end up being we opted to move ours to may next year as we have 40 wedding guests and 85 reception guests x

I've just been to a wedding yesterday, they had it in a town hall and everyone was separated. Her dad wasn't actually aloud to walk her down the Isle due to separation distances so had to walk ahead. Also the 30 guests limit has to include the photographer and who does the wedding x
They couldn't have a reception after so had a bit of a get together at home with the 30 guests that went to the wedding. X
