Nope, you can be dilated but not in active labor. Ex: my hospital won't admit you unless your 5cm, OR in active labor.

Nope. I dilated all the way to a six without feeling a single contraction. I was walking around at 4 cm before my on decided to induce me and I really think I only started to feel things Because of the pitocin

with jerri i started contractions before being induced then went in and went from 2.5 cm to 9 in like 15 mins was only in labor about 6 hours with her but never was dilated before contractions hit at appointments so when she said i'm at a 3 today i was like what i ain't feeling or felt anything beside braxton hicks lol

I was 3cm over a week ago I wonder if anything's progress since then I find out tomorrow but definitely been getting nighttime contractions

My MIL was at 8 cms and didn’t feel anything, was walking around like normal. This was the day she had my SO and the doctor wouldn’t let her leave the appointment for obvious reasons/
