My family’s been trying new foods and trust me their is a lot of it I haven’t cooked lol. Next week I’m interested in making some salmon patties something I’ve never done before but my question is what is bread crumbs and what isle is that usually in this recipe calls for Italian seasoned dry whole weat crumbs. What do they even look like 😅 is that the box of large crumbs I’m confused

It’s usually in the baking aisle. I generally only use Panko breadcrumbs

And usually “bread crumbs” are in a round container. The panko is in a box

I know I made pork chops with the box crumbs last year but they seemed awfully large. And wouldn’t stick well.

I have an amazing salmon burger recipe that is super easy. My MIL takes over an hour to make hers and these take 5 mins and are so much better (and she is a good cook!)

I use more Worcestershire sauce than they do, add some parmesan cheese (1-2 tablespoons), and use veggie straws crushed instead of saltines. But it is a really good recipe!

This sounds good! I’m going to try it next time I make them! Mine also take a bit to make but I use fresh salmon and bake it first instead of the canned. But I have an abundance of salmon in my house so I find any way to use it up!
