Hated for unpopular opinions?

Has anyone else ever been hated or disliked majority of their life from unpopular opinions ? I personally have dealt with it. When you don't agree to what everyone else is doing or when you have a different view people make you out as the enemy. I won't un friend some one because they vote for Trump , sexual orientation, religious beliefs and so on. As long as you're nice to me I'll be nice and respect you & that's how it should be ❤ but too many ppl are neck to neck these days just for being outspoken or feeling differently than everyone else. My best friend and I as a matter of fact have almost nothing in common. Lol but we're still good friends because she is really nice and has never tried to get over on me or use me. We don't have to agree to be friends 😅 just don't be hateful towards me for how I feel. I have made so many enemies in life from speaking my mind and telling the truth it's ridiculous. Also if anyone ever wants advice I'll try my best to always give honest and helpful advice. I won't tell you what you want to hear but what you need to hear. I wish more people could accept one another and stop taking everything so seriously, communication & understanding go a long way.
