*Warning* this may be TMI but I need advice bad! So i got my iud taken out Wednesday and of course they warned me about spotting. Thursday I was okay no bleeding. I woke up yesterday and I was bleeding. I think I changed pads 4 times. Today I woke up and had blood rolling down my leg. Unfortunately its Saturday so the gynecologist is closed. This isn't normal right or am I crazy?!?!

It sounds excessive to me. I have never had an IUD. It sounds like the blood is pooling when you lie flat and then gushing out when you get up. Is it slowing up any? I wouldn't do any lifting if you can avoid it

Its slowing up very little. Its still hard to tell. I'm also having a LOT of cramping and lower back pain.

I use to get horrible periods like that you should probably take you something with iron in it like flinstone vitamins

See thats the thing. My period went off 2 weeks ago. Its not due again for another week and a half. This is from removing my iud. But I'll give it a try. I'm pretty desperate at this point.

I had pretty bad bleeding when my IUD came out. It was like a long, bad period. It lasted 7-8 days for me

@momofkem_sam, yeah, that’s why I had mine removed 🤦🏻♀️ I was so mad lol

lol I did manage to try the day it was removed which was my ovulation day and the day after.
