Excuses to not be drinking annnd GO! We're having a grill out with the in laws outdoors today, and we haven't told them I'm pregnant yet. We also can't tell them today because it's a celebration of my grandmother in laws birthday and we don't want to steal the attention from her. But my last pregnancy they all got suspicious when I stopped having my one drink per get together. 🤦♀️

What kind of drinks will there be? If mixed drinks, just leave out the alcohol for a mocktail? Or say you are taking an antibiotic and can’t drink while using it.

I have no idea! Hopefully there will be something I can use to make a mock drink but it's usually just white claw, reds apple ale, or beer.

Antibiotics is a good excuse. I also dumped and rinsed a can of twisted tea and filled it with iced tea. 🤣

I did pretend drinking. I took the drink and never drank from it. I ended up swapping husband out as he drank his. Lol
