So my son peds told us to come back to the er since he still wasn’t able to urinate they finally took us serious and admitted us yesterday afternoon . Turns out he’s having problems keeping his sugars up so they took a lot of blood did some
Scans and had him on liquids all day yesterday and sugar every 3 hrs before I nurse him . Since he’s been getting his liquid and sugars he’s been urinating like he’s supposed to and his glucose has been normal . So this morning they removed the ivs and he isn’t getting anymore sugars either to see if he can keep his sugars up on his own . If he can then we can go home tonight if not we’ll have a longer stay so let’s hope that my baby can do it 🙏🏾🙏🏾 he’s only 7 days old today and been back and forth to the er getting poked and prodded since 4 days old .
