What would you do if your oldest child who is around 10 was touching your younger children inappropriately?
(Not my situation) I’m just wanting other opinions
Edit: the oldest child has been touched inappropriately by another child.

The child obvious has some thing they need resolved with a therapist & for the safety of the younger children, keeping them distanced is important. It’s sad that the mother isn’t realizing that this route is what’s best for all her children.
It honestly infuriates me that she’s not doing anything about it. There was a situation last where the oldest came to her and said an older cousin had been touching him. They sent the cousin to therapy but not their son. I don’t get it
What she’s not understanding is the damage that has caused & that the feelings they’re having needs discussed & resolved by a professional. So sad. I agree with the other ladies though & CPS may be a necessary step to help those kids since their parent does not want to.
I really think calling CPS is the only way to get the poor kid the help he needs.
Psychotherapy and sexual education is a must in a situation like that. The child needs to learn that what happened to them was wrong and should’ve never been done to them and they shouldn’t do it to anyone else, period. They need to know there are serious consequences that could get them locked up too.

hmmm CPS would make them do something about it. Who hates going there with it though? We all do! However creating a potential predator is a damn good reason to consider it.

If she doesn’t want to take him to a therapist because she thinks she can fix him than I suggest you stay away from them. 🤷🏻♀️ That’s ignorance at it’s finest! 🤦🏻♀️
Oh I absolutely don’t plan on going around them. It makes me sick. And I wish someone would take them children away from her
From experience....if she doesn’t get him the help he needs he won’t stop. A lot of families try to hide things and that doesn’t help anyone. My family sent my stepbrother away for a few years to live with someone else and he still tried to continue molesting me when he came back. 🤦🏽♀️
This is true my cousins are brother and sister and growing up we would hear about them molesting others in the family- or just people that spent times around them. Its been years and people are still coming out telling. I myself was a victim never told and still to this day i haven't said anything. My mom actually called me last week to tell me that the female sibling just got her kids taken away because 3 new people told that she molested them. The male sibling actually did time in jail i remember and when he got out nothing had change. He actually said to me with a straight face. " well i guess your too big now to do the things we use to do." Then smiled ... makes me sick ..I was 15 when this happened. But i can remember multiple times from 6-10 that they took advantage of me right under my family nose.. . Please keep your children away. Even if they say they have gotten help you have to keep one eye open on that situation. Call cps yourself if she doesn't do something she cant fix it. She may also need help to deal with it and not feel guilty or whatever so she knows shes doing the right thing.

I agree with @fairykarmamomma, completely calling CPS isn’t something anyone likes to do but those children need help. They both need therapy at this point.
@michellemybell09, @fairykarmamomma, absolutely! He will not get better. The mom is a basket case and can’t even fix herself so idk how she thinks she’s qualified to fix him

Those are the types who walk around with a secret rapist/pedo in their group but they excuse it and try to make different excuses for them.
She cannot fix the kid. The kid will get worse and she needs to figure out WHO IS TOUCHING HER CHILD !!!

@llcoolkay I know it's no fun but you should call cps for sure they also wont tell them who called and made the report on them because that would be illegal so ur name would not be put out at all if your worried about that just so u know :) good luck I feel bad for those kiddos:(
I feel so bad for them. I definitely feel like I need to call cps. For the kids sake. They should not be subjected this type of thing ever.
A big talk with the child it would help with a therapist so that way they can better explain and i would eye the children for bit , but i been rap and touch inappropriately by family and my 2 other cousins have been too but its best something must be done its very serious but what are the ages
@llcoolkay ohhh hell now im sorry my opinion but this is a ass whipping from hell and then we will take his ass to therapy and find what he seen that made him feel the need to do that for
right? He had an older cousin touch him inappropriately last year so that’s where he learned it. They should have taken him to therapy after that happened
oh that cousin would have gotten that beaten too i blame the parents on the cousin

So the situation this person is in I highly doubt she is getting her child any kind of help. I would absolutely call cps and report it. Tell them only the facts you know and that the child will need to be questioned separate from his mom (otherwise they may just ask in front of his mom and he won't be honest).
Now if she were me I wouldn't necessarily keep my child away from other kids, but would be very closely supervised. Help would be gotten. But my child's business would not be known. I would not share the situation. I don't want my child being looked at as if she were a monster, I don't want her pitied, and I don't want her looked at differently.
I delt with something kinda like that but it was quite to that extent my husband got on his ass and we never had the issue again but he was younger and my youngest was younger back then 🤷🏼♀️ idk maybe she needs to figure out why he feels like that’s ok or whatever maybe he watches porn behind her back etc hard telling with kids now days
My step brother was doing that at that age too and he got sent to live with someone else and was not allowed to be around other kids
