I moved from southern Illinois to SoCal. I definitely do not recommended southern Illinois at all.
Oregon is gorgeous. My inlaws moved up there in 2017. It’s really slow and calm compared to Southern California.
Nevada is great when it comes to no state tax, but I’ve found the people to be a little... off. Sometimes I feel like I’m back in Illinois with all the MAGA signs. 🙄. But it’s definitely better. The schools aren’t great in Nevada though (within reason - you’ll find A few diamonds in the rough.
My sister really enjoyed Texas when she lived there, and she said she’d like to go back someday possibly.
I loveeeee North Carolina. But it was too far from family to really up and move. I visited for 3 months when I was 21 to see if it was a good spot, and while it was gorgeous, it just wasn’t for me fully.
@jennatess, I was suppose to go to Texas around this time but I canceled it because of the visit 😢 and I know some places are really cheap but I want to get paid enough. I use to love in sac but then I wasn’t getting paid enough. And I’m in Oakland wondering how I’m making it each day
@allgirlshere, what do you do for work? Can you transfer easily?
