Rice and beans can be mixed together. Pack of hot dogs are really cheap. You can put that in or eat them on the side. Call your local churches for food give sways. Call social services. Apply for food stamps.

Yes ive been mixing the rice and beans with ground beef also but we ran out I'll try to hot dogs 2morrow I haven't tried it with hotdogs yet, and I'm waiting on fs approval and we are doing foodgive aways in my area right now

Sometimes I find chicken really good prices like $.58/lb for a whole chicken. You can throw the whole thing in the crockpot and get amazing shredded chicken out of it. Any shredded meat always goes way further than ground meat IMO
