I need advice if your baby is a 1 year old are you supposed to raise your voice at them?

Why do you need to raise your voice?

They really don't understand that. Usually redirecting whatever they are doing wrong is best. They can't get into much at that age, so take anything they shouldn't have out kf their reach. A 1 year old doesn't need to be yelled at, they don't understand. What are they doing that someone thinks it is effective to raise their voice?

Redirection. I say “no thank you” while giving them something else to do. My 4 year old is starting to do it too, lol

With my son I would get down to his level eye to eye and grab whatever he was doing or holding and firmly but gently would say “no.” And then give him something he was allowed to play with or touch and then say “yes.” Redirection like previous comments have said.
