I had a student in on my appointment today. My ob told the guy to check for fetal heart tones, he barely placed any pressure on the Doppler but I did hear the placenta and fetal movement. ( I look for movement when I use my Doppler) anyway that didn’t bother me at all. When the ob came back in she asked him if he heard the heart beat and he said yes.
