I didn't even know they still made flintstones chewables, does any mom here give them to their children?
That's the same, kinda. He is a great eater some days, other days, no, I want to know he's getting vitamins and minerals everyday
I replied to your comment above before seeing this one 😂 just ignore that comment above, smh
@momof3.98 @jenx I'm asking because I was doing research to get some, and people were saying the have blue # something and red # something. Then I freaked out and didn't buy them 😂 but you guys haven't had any adverse effects with them?
No adverse effects and my daughter is very sensitive to food dye. Like Jekyll and Hyde. It is a super small amount. I wouldn't worry about it. I worry more about dyes in things they consume a lot of, like fruit snacks, drinks, etc.
@jenx I was wondering the same thing, that these dyes are probably in something he's already eaten or drank, lol
I do. The gummies don't have iron. She takes the Target Up & up chewable every day. We used to do the name brand but they stopped selling it at Sam's Club and went to gummies.
Lol, forget my last comment, lil critters probably don't have iron, gummies usually don't
@jenx interesting. I understand why girls need iron, but would it really be necessary pre menstruation? I've always heard because of menstruation, girls need more iron.
I would like a complete vitamin for him, he does this thing where, some days he eats beautifully, then others 😒 he just will not
@thatregalmujer I think it is great coverage to make sure he is getting all he needs, that's why my daughter has always taken one. I think parents mean well re: the food dyes, but I think you have to weigh cost/benefit. A little tiny vitamin is a small amount, neon green Popsicles and "fruit" drinks that glow in the dark practically worry me a whole lot more! :)
My daughter takes them because her doc suggested a multi with iron. She just won’t really eat many of the things that are good natural sources of iron.
