Buuut the ladies that have been in church all of their lives were proposed to without a ring lol I guess it just depends on the importance of the ring to you...
Depends on the person. Me personally? No. To me the ring is worn always to show that your union matters a lot to you and as a symbol of respect for your partner and testimony of marital status. When my husband proposed my ring was from Walmart and later upgraded right before our wedding. I didn’t care if it was cheap or not I just wanted us both to have rings for that reason.
I feel like that something you would talk about before. If my husband had proposed without a ring, I would’ve been like “what?” Hahaha. I still would have said “yes”, I just would haven’t had expected a proposal without one.
i said yes to my hubby the 3rd time lmao the first two times i assumed he was joking because he did not have a ring so i told him to stop playing an kept ignoring him. the 3rd time he asked i could see he wasnt joking and really wanted a answer... but he started by saying "i know right now i dont have anything to give you like a ring but.............." so yep i would say yes the ring is material it come later...
Would not expect a proposal without a ring but I would accept one as a ring is a material item. I have been with my man 10 years and I don’t have a ring yet, my ring is super important to my man and he has a standard he wants to meet and I can’t justify allowing him to do that at this current moment. He’s a jewellery person and I don’t really care lol 😂.
