Does you child still call you "mama," and dad "dada"? When did your child start saying "mommy and daddy"? Did you have to teach them?
Lol, they try to tell me 1 yr olds can't be manipulative 😂 guess all these one year olds are ahead of the curve
What is transitioning words? He just calls us mama and dada, lol
@thatregalmujer, oh I was just reiterating your original question; as in is your baby transitioning from mama and dada to mommy and daddy ☺️ & Yasss my little one has been dooping me for months now 🤦🏽♀️ they are smarter than science says
@beezmommy lol, ok, I answered what I thought you were asking.
These babies are def smarter than all these "experts" believe, lol
Both kids were alittle over 2 when they started calling me mommy, now my almost 6 year old some days calls me mom 😩
My husband and I referred to ourselves as mommy and daddy, so she just sort of picked it up, probably around 3. Now when she is irritated I am "Mother". >.<
Lol, "mother." We refer to each other as mommy and daddy. Sometimes I talk to him and say "mommy is going to give you a bath" etc
@thatregalmujer He will pick it up in no time. :) hopefully you never become "mother" pronounced Muhthurrrrr.
My daughter is five and still calls me momma. Occasionally she'll call me mommy but it's usually when we're around others and they're referencing me when talking to her. I LOVE the way she says it and just go with the flow.
I was just wondering how kids go from saying mama and dada to mommy and daddy, lol
I’m “mooom!” when she needs me, but for the most part she switches off as she pleases (almost 19 months and she has an extended vocab 🙄) It’s mommy, dad, dada, & daddy when she wants something or she’s trying to be lovey towards him 🥰
@thatregalmujer has your started transitioning words yet?
