Sorry to the ladies who are confused i didn’t mean to make such a fuss just wanted to share some pictures of my son but of course some are worried about other things instead of asking they assume Smh we have bigger problems in the world
Having a car seat work properly in the event of an accident is a pretty big deal. Life or death. These mamas are only looking out, no need to get upset. I can understand that you might feel attacked in way. But these ladies do great research and are only trying to be helpful.
Take it in, do a little research. As mamas all we should be is accepting of advice. Especially when it’s such a serious matter.
@brittany88, just know that if you leave those straps twisted they won’t work right in an accident. You do what you do I guess.
Without some of the advice from these women when I was pregnant, I would've gone with Australian law and forward faced from 6 months because I didn't know any better. With the advice I picked up from some of these women over 2 years ago, as frustrating as it is, my son is still rear facing. I learnt that rear facing til as close to age 4 as possible is safest and researched a car seat within my budget to accommodate him as long as possible. I also went to our local fire department for advice on installation and strap placement.
People's wording can come off some type of way through text, but the message is still the same. They are only looking out for your gorgeous little mans safety.
I never asked for there advice on the picture at all.... nothings wrong with him playin in a car that’s OFF he plays with his straps while we wait he eats he shits he sings he does all type of stuff wen the cars off like i kno how to take care of my child

Instead of taking anyones advice ( whether she asked for it or not is invalid) she's just gonna make excuses for the incorrect behavior, and act like a victim. Instead of taking it on board and learning from mistakes. Some people are too ignorant to learn anything new though.
It's hard to assume when something is pretty clearly seen.

@family1stalways my one and only comment is on this post. Also @love_linds shared her story. Some of us were not attacking her, just Sharing personal experience with her. All I'm saying is that as as hard as it can be to hear, just accept advice and move on. It's the responsible thing to do. Everyone makes mistakes. Learning from them is what helps us grow as people/ mothers.

The car was off! He sits in the car n plays with his straps look closer his fries are be side him we were waiting on my grandmother and autistic cousin to come out the store i just let my kid be a kid when they come out i get out n fix him n drive off
