@dontblockmesis-imjustspeakingfacts it matters on the plant, there's a boy girl science too plants, some buds and boys, some buds are girls, the girls need the boys to successfully grow a pumpkin by the bees pollinating. I mean that's how I understand it, anyways. 😂 so you just have to wait and see. Do you happen to know what type of pumpkin it is?
The female always has the pumpkin behind it, the Male never has the pumpkin, the Male flower is what brings the bees to the female.
@um-from-umbridge, oh wow. That’s a lot to know 😂. I don’t, we had gotten it from a pumpkin patch for Halloween. I didn’t even know they had different types.
@dontblockmesis-imjustspeakingfacts yeah, there definitely is, they need to be pollinated in order to grow the pumpkin, but not all plants are like that for instance tomatoes also come from a flower, BUT pollination is not needed. Lol so it can get confusing. I had to look them up a few years ago when a plant wasnt doing to well and learned a bunch! Yes, there is a TON of different types and colors. I dont think 1 of my pumpkins are just orange, or the same size. I've got brownish orange- deep red- blue- white- green and orange and white striped ones. 😂
