So how many mamas put their babes to bed at almost 2.5 years and how did you break it so they could go to sleep on their own?? Tips?? Tricks??

What I was doing before covid was we would have lights off but tv on in the living room and have a cuddle session for 30 minutes. He would then go to his room I'd cover him up, gave his favorite blanket and stuffed animal and that was it.
Now with covid everything's gone out the window and he falls asleep in my bed and I take him to his bed

Sounds good. I will try this. We watch sometimes on the weekends but during the week the tv is off. I thought it was too stimulating but maybe it isn’t. Thanks!

@jess_e_98 my youngest doesnt watch tv so when I put it on it puts him to sleep. Hes now starting to enjoy tv so I no longer allow him to watch cartoons before bed or he'll be up way longer than I want to deal with

Snuggles 30 minutes before bed for settle down time. Then lights out bed time. My 2 year old is pretty good at bedtime if she has time to unwind first

This makes sense because it takes about 30 minutes of him in my arms or on my lap and then he sleeps. So maybe we should just try that and when the eyelids get heavy he could crawl into bed? Thanks!
