Advice for when the baby comes with having 2 kids

Dont give gifts to baby without giving gifts to the toddler. Always make older sibling feel like the helper you couldn’t live without and dress them alike as much as u can because there will come a time when they will refuse to 😭

Before my daughter was born I had my son help me put away her clothes and organize everything. She was in the nicu so I was pumping for her while at home. He helped label the milk and made a special spot for it in the fridge. Helped me wash the pump stuff. Hopefully for you it will be the same but I think he was just suppose to be a big brother. Everytime she cries he helps calm her down. Helps with diaper changes. Gets her blanket and brings her toys. And trust me, you may think you may not have enough time or love for two, but you do. And that love with grow watching your older one and how much she loves the new baby.

Let them help out as much as possible any way they can. Try to get some one on one times with them any chance you get. Maybe throw a small gonna be a big sibling party make them feel special
