@briannalynn547, I’m assuming your breastfeeding... if he’s hurting you when he’s drinking or his latch isn’t deep enough like just ducking your nipple than you have to re adjust and start over . So you just slip your finger obviously clean in the corner of his mouth to break the seal and than shove your boob in deeper so his latch is better . A poor latch can lead to hurting nipples . Breastfeeding isn’t supposed to hurt . I hope this helps

Use expressed breast milk on them after ever feeding and coconut oil. Medela makes shells that you can use to keep your clothing from rubbing on them between feedings until they naturally toughen up. They were a life saver for me..

The book is a Great resource. My lactation consultant is the best in the field and she said she couldn't think of anything she could teach me that the book could not. It was a gift after my second daughter was born and I wish I'd of had it for the first!!!
