For Father’s Day I got him 2 pair of jeans, 8 shirts, a wallet, and the window tint he wanted.
I got nothing. That’s what I got.

If my husband did that I wouldn't have gotten him shit. That's just so self-absorbed...did he at least make you breakfast or acknowledge the day?
Mandy··
@breee87 well he'll only learn if you tell him or blatantly show him that what he is doing is not okay.

I told him all the things he got were to show appreciation and how much we love him. And that I hope he feels loved and appreciated because I sure as hell don’t.
Mandy··
interesting. Maybe he just forgot. If this is a habit though then that's okay and tbh getting him stuff just rewards the bad behavior.
What's It To You?·
I'd return it all and get myself something. Buy a card from the kids and bam, he can deal with it. Fuck all that.

Man at first I thought you were going to say that the stuff you got him was really for you! When does mommy get treated?

You’re nicer than me. I would’ve stopped buying him presents a long time ago.

This is my husband to a point.🙄 he has gotten everything he had wanted and I’m just waiting to see egg fast he gets me for my birthday because so far I haven’t gotten anything..
But to be somewhat fair I don’t ever know what I want 😂

I thought that was all the stuff you got yourself. Hopefully one day you'll learn to love yourself as much as he loves himself. Until then... you'll probably always get nothing
