Can anyone recommend some safety mechanisms for securing a window?
My daughter started opening the windows this morning on her own. We told her she needs to ask permission first and I know she'll comply; I just want something on the window for added comfort.
Any suggestions?

I have some tool that screws onto the window rail securely so you are not able to push window open. My windows open sideways, sliders.
I found them at Home depot and Walmart before but I forget what they are called. You just twist them tightly to secure it on.
I have them as a double security on all of my windows.

@massgirl, it is really hard for her to open it. If you screw it on very tight. I have difficulties releasing them when I need to open my windows lol. They are small. Like about an inch wide.
