Y'ALL! This is how Michael and Jessica have been sleeping for the last week or so. They're SO freakin cuuuttteee! Michael stays behind and kinda pushes her up on the rock, climbs up with her and they hold little freakin turtle hands!!! AHHHHHHH!! Just LOOK how stinkin ADORBS that is!!!

Is it expensive to have turtles, my daughter who is loves vsco girl wanted one for her birthday but I told her maybe when she gets a lil older because they seem expensive to care for, she lives turtles and wants one so bad

Not at all. The tank, filter and all that gettin them set up stuff was where we spent the most. We've never had any kind of reptilian pets so we were starting from scratch. We spent around $200 that first time, for the tank, rocks, food, filter and all that good stuff. Since then though, I've just bought them a few different food options to keep em switched up. That was like 10-12 bucks. After the initial set up, maintenance isn't bad financially but physically it's kind've kept me busy. They are DIRTY little creatures, and maybe it's cause we have 2, but even with a filter I've gotta clean the whole tank at LEAST once a week. Like take all the water, rocks, filter... EVERYTHING out, wash it and put it all back together. It's KINDA a pain in the ass, not gonna lie, but they ARE pretty cool!
