Oh no! I have a bunch of cook books. I can try to find an actual recipe for you if you would like. Sorry, I do 95% of my cooking from scratch and never use recipes. I'll get an ingredient list from a recipe I look up and then just go at it. I love roti. Dal Poori(sp?) is my favorite. It tasted fine without the baking powder but it wasn't roti without it. It was a thicker, flat bread. Still tasty just not flaky and thin the way roti is supposed to be. I'm sorry you don't have a yard. I'm very blessed that we do. Unfortunately the girls broke their tree swing so I had to take it down. We had to go to Lowe's yesterday and it was the first time my girls had been in public (other than Dr appts) since March. There was the cutest little boy there who was running around climbing on everything and playing while his dad took picture and laughed with him. Both without masks. My poor 4 yr old couldn't understand why she had to wear a mask and sit in her wagon while he go to play. I wish people would take this seriously and help us just get past it already. Truth be told though I'm growing weary of all the precautions and would almost like to just take my chances. If I wasn't a mom I can't say I would be going through so much trouble. Where are you from in the States? Did you grow up with roti? Have you ever had pumpkin and shrimp? Or shrimp and okra Indian style? Love me some good food!!! Hope today is a great day for you. With the time difference it's hard to stay in touch at the same time. It's 0600 and my day is off to a busy start. Yesterday got thrown off bc of the Lowe's trip. 😟So I have double chores today. Eek.
