The maker is expensive but wondering if I should go that route.

I just got a Maker. I’m not sure if I’ll do everything it can do but I like that I have the ability if I wanted too. I got it as gift.

@melinanae, a huge gift! Really look into it. The supplies can get pricey plus you have to pay for the ready to make projects that cricut has. I’ve been doing some research, their are free projects on Pinterest but I haven’t tried to do one yet. They have limited fonts and simple shapes that are free of charge.

yeah I saw the supplies are pretty pricey. Damn but I didnt know you had to pay for projects. I did see a membership that's like 10 bucks a month but I didnt read it all the way that probably what it was regarding. Damn it. That's kinda a turn off lol.

Yeah. I’m kinda peeved about it. I’m not sure how easy it’ll be to use free images off line. There are quite a bit of non cricut brand supplies that are cheaper I just don’t know enough about them to say if the quality is similar. This morning I got an email about “free cut Friday” there were a dozen projects that are now free. I’m not sure if it’s just for the day or a week or what. Plus there are some many different projects, paper, fabric, vinyl for me personally there are not a ton that I want to do. I’m mostly interested in vinyl iron on stuff at least for the time. I really like that the maker can do so many things. Even though I’m more interested in vinyl now I’ll most definitely do using it for engraving and paper crafting.
