@sorrynotsorry We use Dove Baby Wash and coconut oil for our girls. They had really sensitive skin when they were get little also but they have the healthiest skin I've ever seen. I commented earlier today to someone on here that even their ped comments about it. I hope it's nothing serious and that it goes away soon. You can try coconut oil or even doing a breast milk wash. Breast milk has good uses for many things. Hugs mama!
His doctor said it looks like baby acne and part dermatitis. It’s just got worse than before. The only soap we have used since he’s been home is the johnsons bath time. We have not used soap on his face at all. I have extremely sensitive skin, so I’m not a fan of anything with fragrances like that. We have been putting aquaphor on it but still doesn’t seem to make it any better. Any soap recommendations? We use Purex for detergent but his body isn’t breaking out so I don’t think the detergent is it.
Johnson’s products are really harsh. Why not try something more natural. Also, if it’s acne and you’re covering it with aquaphor, that’s just making the situation worse. Putting an oily ointment on top of something that’s already oily/clogged won’t help.

Also two times a day take a warm wash cloth to his face and wipe it and let it air dry

Yea it looks like baby acne. It’s pretty common. Are u nursing? Breast milk does wonders for baby acne. Just a little bit rubbed on the areas. Does it seem to bother him? Like is he trying to scratch at it? Cause if it’s not u could also do nothing but keep it clean and try. I would stop the aquaphor especially if it’s not helping. Just gently wipe down with a clean washcloth and let air dry. Then, like I said if you’re nursing, rub a little bit of Breast milk to the area and let that air dry. Most times, if it’s truly baby acne and not something like eczema, u don’t really have to do anything to it and it will go away on it’s own. Both my boys got it bad around his age too.

Do you have Aveeno eczema cream? I would recommend putting that on. Poor baby hope little man gets to feeling better.
