How do I wean my 14 month old off breastfeeding 😣 is it too soon? I’m getting migraines from sleep deprivation. She wakes me just so I could be her pacifier half the time
The best way is to drop one feeding at a time. If she is waking up to nurse, put her in her own room in her own bed. She won’t wake up as much if you’re not right next to her. Sounds like you need to sleep train her. You can sleep train and still nurse during the day. I’m still nursing my son at 25 months but I dropped the nap feeding over a week ago. It’s been a little hard but gets better each day. So now I only nurse in the morning and at bedtime. It’s a process.
Thanks for the suggestion I will definitely try that! 🤞hope you doesn’t cry to the top of her lungs 😣 25 months is amazing, props to you 👏🏽 the baby doesn’t bite you at all?
@e_elliana408, thank you 😊 Well I did have a few cases where he bit me. I think 3 total. He clamped down on my right side and left cuts from his top teeth. I had to stop nursing that side and pump it and only nurse from the other side. After about 3-4 days it healed then I could nurse again. It’s weird because I never had issues with my daughter cutting me but I have with my son 🤷🏻♀️
@e_elliana408 my struggle is having to be in a certain position so my breasts are out because she likes to drink one and then go to the other and then go back to the other one and so when she finally gets off my back hurts
@roses702, same here I have angle myself slightly tilted when on my side, sometimes I doze off but most of the time I’m awake waiting for her to finish.
