Best baby lotion for dry skin? I tried aveno night time balm for eczema and their lotions and it’s not working 🙄

Do you have tips for hair by chance? My oldest has a dry head, dandruff

@e_elliana408 We wash as needed and because getting your head rinsed even if the hair isn't dirty feels good we rinse their hair each shower. The oil is great for their scalp. Small amounts rubbed into the dry spot and even for the hair. Yes, it may get a little oily but I trust you will learn how to apply it, like I did, and it will be your new best trick. I thought my mil was nuts always putting oil in the baby's hair and rubbing it in like she did bc I hate the oily look, but it is my go to now. I oil their hair for the day at least once a week. It washes out but soaks in where needed and does it's job. I wish I could talk instead of typing bc it's easier to show/explain but I hope you understand. It takes some getting used to but once you figure out how much you need you'll probably never go back to lotion. I used coconut oil throughout both of my pregnancies and I can't prove it has anything to do with it, but I don't have a single stretch mark from either one. I do have a few small ones on my breasts but they're inconsequential. You can use a soft bristled baby brush to lightly scrub(very gently and only for a moment) his scalp while he has shampoo in his hair. That is a trick used on newborns and then towel dry his hair and apply the oil. Hope all of this helps. Back to chores I go. Have to cook supper. 😀

My girls have perfectly healthy skin and we have never used lotion of any kind only coconut oil. Even their ped comments about how healthy and radiant their skin is.

@e_elliana408 Yes. Put a little in your hands, it doesn't take a lot, run together and apply. We do this after every bath/shower and as needed. They have never had lotion touch their skin. And I have started using it also. Such a big difference! You'll learn how much you need to use as you go.

@xryztalroze, thank you very much! Bravo! No lotion on their skin wow that’s awesome if you’re able to make things on your own, natural is always best.

@e_elliana408 Thank you so much! So many people thought we would change our mind about some of our ideals once the children came but we have stuck to it and it really makes a difference. My husband and his family have used coconut oil for generations. So it made sense to me. Hope it works out for you as well as it does for our family!

We used the balm which is thick and it swore it dried her out worse but I might have to try that Eucerin! Thank you!

@paigerue2013 I've never tried it, mine broke out with J&J so I've only tried their oatmeal packs. 2 of mine had a horrible outbreak a couple weeks ago. Their skin looked like bites and blisters. I had to call their dermatologist and get a different med and they said to try Eucerin. It has calmed down so much since.
