Can 2020 be over already. I’m done. As an ER nurse I’ve had to deal with COVID (still majorly dealing with it) and now I’m getting people who are getting tear gassed and getting hit with rubber bullets bad and people who are breaking their hands because they are trying to break through glass. I love my job so much but I’m tired.
PS I’m all for protesting for a good cause. I’m not for the selfish looters.

It’s ridiculous. We don’t get a break this year apparently. I worked in trauma for 4 years but then I switched to a step down trauma center when I had kids because it was getting too much. But I love working in the ED. But you definitely see the worst of people and what people can do in there. It’s taught me so many lessons about life. I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
@mommabear3579, Yeah, it’s been non stop since this whole thing began. One thing after another. How cool! I don’t blame you, having kids and being in trauma can really be eye opening and hard to deal with some of the things that come in. I work the night shift. I completely agree with you girl, there are things you learn and you can’t learn them anywhere else.
@mommabear3579, I am there with you! I’m a Trauma Nurse and its been the same at our ER. Im exhausted but I love my job so the battle continues 😂
