I shared this the other day in my stories but wanted to share here as well. This is from Glennon Doyle’s book Untamed. I grew up in a little bubble in Mesa, Arizona where there was hardly any education or emphasis on these topics. I think we all need to take it upon ourselves (especially if you’re growing up in a bubble) to have these discussions and educate ourselves on these topics. If we don’t, what happened to George Floyd will continue to happen. We need to have conversations with our kids and make sure they learn through our examples. I feel like I often don’t know the right things to say or how to say them and get scared to speak up but I think even if we don’t know the right things to say talking about this can lead to impactful discussions. 💕 #georgefloyd
Controversial topic ahead:
How do u ladies feel about masks on kids all day at school while playing sports etc? I’m not an anti masker in general but I am sort of anti mask for small children in school 5-7 hours a day. What are we teaching our children right now? That physical touch is dangerous? Don’t hug/high five cause u could get sick and die? What’s happening to this world right now? Thoughts. I hope this doesn’t make some think different of me but I needed to see others thoughts. Open for...
Remember when people were saying that those of us who don’t post pics of ourselves or our kids are shady? 💅🏻
some girls should shut the hell up .. they always say if you don't have something nice to say then don't say it ! I hate judgmental people with closed minded views .
Universal preschool access
I don't think I've ever seen this topic discussed here? Anyways, there's a bill or something up in MN for universal access to preschool. I have some friends who live there who are completely against it and I'm trying to understand why. I can't understand their concerns because their concerns aren't how 4k works? At least not here and wouldn't be there from how I understand it.
