Bubbers knows how to say his ABC's and identify all of the letters by sight... only problem is, he only knows the uppercase letters, smh. I plan on starting lowercase, but which "a" should I teach him? The one that's everywhere, or the one I write? I think I should teach him both... and then "b, d, p, and q" 🥴 it's fun time... I'm just gonna send him to school, lol, I don't think I'm cut out for teaching, lol
Great job, little guy! It’s really normal for kids to know their capital letters for a while before their lower case letters. Even in kindergarten, kids will have trouble with their lowercase letters for the first part of the year. 😊 Don’t stress about it! And as for the “a” - I would teach him it the way that people usually write it, not the way it is typed. Kids usually pick up on the difference on their own when they’re around 2nd-3rd grade. Kids books, school workbooks, and stuff used in the classroom all have the a the way it is commonly written up until around 4th grade.
