Sometimes you just gotta toss you hair up and throw on a party dress! .

I think I can count on one hand how many times I’ve dressed up since March 13th. I miss wearing my dresses and skirts and high heels. I miss doing my hair and makeup for a night out with my husband. .

But you know what the best thing about life is? You really don’t need an excuse to dress up! Any and every day is a day to celebrate… and even though life is a little different right now, it still doesn’t mean we can’t toss on “that” dress hanging in our closet! .

This @cabiclothing Derby Dress is one of my NEW FAVES! The colors and pattern make me so happy! It’s bold and beautiful and exudes the SUMMER to me (which is right around the corner, thank goodness!). You know what I love the best? I can easily ditch the slip underneath it and wear it over a swimsuit on the beach or poolside. Love a dress with versatility! .

Ok, ladies (especially those with hair experience) I want to change up my hair. The two pics on the left are for curl pattern purposes-that's my natural curl. The picture on the right is what I want to do. I'm fairly certain the models hair has some curling iron retouching and a lot of product, but do you think it's possible that my hair and curl could hold that cut without it being high maintenance? My hair is boob length now and I spend a lot of time styling it because it's too hot and heavy to wear down.
