Is anyone here a server at a restaurant that is offering curbside pickup only? I was just wondering how the servers are getting paid since normally they get paid a low wage and mostly work for tips? Are the people still tipping for take out? Or are the restaurants paying servers more or are they just not working?

My Friend is a server and she said the people who work takeout get paid the same as servers so you should tip your takeout order

Girl I didn't either till my Friend told me that you should always tip the take outs.
I know with the steakhouse I go to the servers are laid off 🤷🏼♀️.
But at fast food places they are working everyone... Because drive through been so busy

I’ve always tipped when I do pick up or curb side. I tip more now to everyone that provides a service for me.

Im a hostess and our waitresses aren't working at all. They were the first to get laid off and they have only had me come in for easter and mothers day because of how busy it gets. On normal days its just managers working right now.

@onehotmess idk about others but our waitresses are actually making more on unemployment. They give them the percentage of their wages and add an extra 600. Idk if its working like that for everyone though. Its such a crappy situation for everyone. But I know that our waitresses are okay for the most part.
