Update: My OB just called and they're sending a prescription to the pharmacy because the study they have so far for pregnant women with Covid is that they develop blood clots at a higher rate than anyone else so now I will have to give myself injections of this medicine to prevent any clots 😭😭😭😭😭
The blood thinner injection doesn't cross the placenta so baby is safe. For now I cant see my OB till 32weeks unless its an emergency so I have to track the baby's movements and let them know if my symptoms get worse. My oxygen levels were good yesterday when I did the testing tho
Quick question.... Do you have the virus?
And I hate needles to but If you take a deep breath and make sure you punch yourself ( where you put the needle) you wouldn't feel it. I am a diabetic and I have to take the insulin for now. 3 times day.. So I found that way to work.
Yes, I tested positive yesterday. I will try that then because I hate getting blood work and shots done, idk how I'm going to do it myself
@kelseys we never know we are going to do have of the things we are do. But as mothers we get it done. If you can get through birth you can do these needles. You are doing it for your kids. At least that is what I tell my self.. I am the same.
I can’t even prick my own finger lol I’m a wimp maybe your spouse will be willing to help you
Same! My husband said he would help but knowing him lol he's even more of a wimp than me.
How are they going to protect the baby? I know I have a lot of questions... Just want to make sure both of you will be safe
