indy’s appointment was this morning and i left with more questions than answers. the doctor prescribed famotidine as a precaution for reflux, but he doesn’t know for sure if that’s the underlying cause of her symptoms. when he listened to her lungs, he said they didn’t sound clear, and her grunting may be caused by that. this may or may not be related to her other symptoms. he ordered blood work and a chest xray, and did an rsv test. hopefully in the next couple days we’ll start to get some answers ☹️

Her lungs can not be sounding clear if the reflux is really bad because the reflux can make fluid go into their lungs if it’s the worst case scenario. I’m surprised her dr isn’t having you guys hospitalized my sisters son was immediately hospitalized to find out what was going on

yeah im not entirely pleased with how it’s being handled :/ but at least he finally took me seriously and ordered tests.

yes definitely and don’t be scared to get a second opinion from another doctor either. It took my sister three times going to her dr before he finally sent her son to a children’s hospital
