This 2020 has been the worst (on the grandest scale ever.) So much uncertainty, so much unknown, so much blaming each other. I keep wondering when we'll see the end of this, whether that looks like the human race learns to coexist with covid, or covid bids us adieu, whatever the end looks like. I can't help but wonder how we overcame all other health threats, bubonic plague, small pox, heck, even swine flu.
n.b. I'm not comparing tragedies, they were all terrible.
I'm just so ready for us to be survivors, and go on to thrive. It was said a long time ago that before this is all said and done, most of the population will have contracted it, that about 70% of the population would have to get it to develop herd immunity (assuming it behaves like other viruses), I keep wondering if I'll be in that 30 or so percent of people unafflicted. Then I feel selfish for wondering 😩

We need to learn from this when the spanish flu first hit people were quarantine to their houses and what not almost the same as now but what has changed is the medical knowkedge so in time there should be no reason we can't over come this. But that is just my opinion

the management overall was 🤯 when they were telling people to not wear masks, I was like 😳😳 "no, bad advice, wear all the masks, triple up! Wear the masks! I've seen contagion ok, we need masks!" 😂

If we do nothing else, we are definitely going to learn. It's a little mind boggling that the medical community has seem so many devastations, yet run around like a chicken without a head everytime something new pops up, but then again I don't know what goes into figuring it all out, but I just want someone to figure it all out 😅

Same here in my opinion once it hit big in China all countries should have started taking precaution. Look at Taiwan they are close to China yet they have handled this pandemic pretty well and have had low numbers

I was sitting here like "restrict flights, Restrict Flights, RESTRICT FLIGHTS, what's taking them so long to do the obvious! It's a travelling disease, if no one travels, we'll be safe" 😂🙈 they eventually did that, but I think by that time it was already too late. So I looked up Taiwan, idk, those numbers kind of looking suspect 😂 440 cases to date, 7 deaths and 368 recoveries. They need to share what they did, but it seems they attribute much of their success to early border closing, too late to do that now...
