I've been spotting for the last week, and my doctor has discovered that I have low progesterone (I insisted that it needed checked!). I've been prescribed progesterone suppositories. If anyone has spotted and taken these, did the suppositories put an end to the spotting? Tonight's my second night taking them.

Progesterone suppositories I see a lot of posts on here avout the progesterone shots, but I haven't seen much about the suppositories. I had my son prematurely due to a placental abruption. This time around the doctors are keeping a close eye on everything. Ultrasounds every 2 weeks to look for any abnormalities, as well as checking the length of my cervix at every appointment. I'm supposed to start the suppositories Sunday night. My doctor told me that they no longer offer the shots since the product has been monopolized and the price of it has gotten so ridiculously high. My question is, do any of you ladies use the suppositories? What are the side effects? Thanks ladies and good luck with your pregnancies!
