Can anyone recommend a good all natural lotion? I need one with no nuts. My daughter had a virus recently that caused a rash. The doctor said to keep cleaning her skin with witch hazel and eucerin soap but it's making it dry and he said to keep the skin clean and moisturized.
I have cold press coconut oil but idk if I can just apply that straight to her skin. She has several but allergies so I'm afraid to.

Awe man we’ve been through this a few times this year. Just coming out of the most recent rash now that lasted several weeks. I don’t have an all natural solution but our best creams have been eucerin skin calming and cerave. I am attaching pics of their ingredients for you to check. The eucerin skin calming has been the most moisturizing, the cerave has been been the best for the sensitive skin times.

yes I did that the other day and she was not a fan lol. She doesn't have eczema so I just want something that will help heal where the rash has been. I guess I'll get some eucerin. She used it when she was a baby it's not natural but I know she can tolerate it

we tried an honest company all purpose balm for a bit but it was greasy and not too helpful. Her pediatrician actually suggested steering away from the oil based stuff for the rash anyway and recommended the eucerin skin calming lotion. I was able to get it in my last supermarket order so it should be pretty easy to find

thanks she hates greasy stuff as well. I'll try the eucerin. She was able to tolerate it as an infant so I'm sure it'll work out fine

Where is the rash? I would maybe wash every other day or every few days. Since we are inside so much she probably isn't getting that messy. Washing is very drying. And I would try the coconut oil instead of the lotion. Lotion has a lot of ingredients that can sting.
I used to use straight organic olive oil on my kiddo when her skin was dried out and it worked really well

That's why I was leaning towards coconut oil but I'm so afraid of her breaking out more. I don't think she was ever tested for coconut. She's been playing outside a lot because she has a new swing set and it's finally been warm. The rash started on her cheek. Cleared up there after a few days but then came back on her neck and spread down her back. She isn't too itchy. It's just there which made the doctor think it was viral. Witch hazel definitely dries the skin out which is why I want to keep it moisturized
