Dropping a night feed is rough. Esp when your other half doesnt do anything to help. I asked him to try and calm little man. He tried for 10 minutes put him back in his crib and says "I guess your going to have to cry it out" 😡 I'm sick of being the only one to do wake ups. Hes 8 months old and should be sleeping better...

8 months is still young I wouldn’t personally drop the night feeding . They wake up for a reason he can be going through a regression or growth spurt . Talk about sleeping better my 2 year old doesn’t sleep through the night

Are your nursing? Does he sleep in your room? Some babies sleep better in a different room. And growth spurts are real! It won't last long. I hope you get some sleep. Tell daddy he helped make him he help put him to sleep 💤

Yes I nurse him, yes hes in my room. We live in a small apartment at the moment so there isn't anywhere else I can put him besides his brothers room and I'm not so sure about that

My little guy gets up at 11pm and 3ish am no matter when I put him to bed. I'm not so upset when he gets up around 5 because that's when I normally get up for work

What is that?

How many is he doing per night, what do you usually do during them, and is he breast or bottle?

Lol, nvm. Let me read the previous comments so you don't have to type twice

Honestly, you're probably in a cry it out situation...being in the same room probably isn't helping. And 8m is a perfectly normal age to sleep through the night. Some people just don't take the steps to help their kids through the bumps. Mine just started sleeping from 7pm-8 or 9am last week. He was down to one wakeup before he slept through. Now if he wakes up he can put himself back to sleep without me.

Well 8 months is pretty young to drop a night feeding. There’s a sleep regression at 9 months so he’ll like go back to waking up again even if you sleep train him now. My son slept through the night his whole life but at 9 months he was waking up at 1:30am every night. It only lasted about a month then he went back to normal. My daughter woke up for a night feeding every night until she was 14 months. I nursed them both. I know it’s hard, especially when you also have an older child, but maybe stick it out a little longer and try when he’s 10 months.
