Now that I have the epidural, what is there to expect when it’s time to push? Pain, mainly pressure?…

They may dial it down a bit when it is time to push. My midwife timed my contractions and when one was coming I had to push like I was going to the bathroom. She would tell me when.

I just remember getting told when to push. Then before you know it there it is lol.

I felt a lot of pressure in my butt when it was time to push

I just slept and waited til I hit 10cm and was ready to push lol I didn’t feel Any of the pushing or pressure I jst pushed wen they said and then she was out I didn’t feel anything my epidural numbed me really good lol Nd I lost so much blood I fainted like 30 minutes after

Depending on how well your body takes the epidural with my youngest I literally felt every contraction & the pressure was horrible(probably because I dilated to quick & the epidural didn’t fully kick in yet)
