I hate this time of year + the fact we live with dessert landscaping. They always try to escape the heat and come inside. 😩🕷

Same! We stopped going to the backyard last week lol there are so many diff species of spiders that have become known to me! It’s horrifying.

It’s so bad! And like I said - we have desert landscaping. Seems like a great idea and we don’t have to take care of grass, but the spiders are drawn to nesting and all the rocks.
Last year I saw a huge spider with babies all on its back! I nearly shit myself and I’m not afraid of spiders really.
Ughhhh!!
Sometimes, when I’m feeling really bitchy about it, I’ll go outside and run the hose over the rocks… It’s insane to watch them all scurry.

I feel for you! I’m cringing as I read your message. I hate spiders... I pretend to be brave in front of my daughter lmfao! But deep inside I’m dying a little. She screams at the top of her lungs which makes me more nervous! 😂😂 have you tried getting pest control? I had one come in every couple of months in my old house, I lived there for 4 years and never saw one inside. I have the same service where I live at now but our backyard is very bushy, just a lot of things going on in general that attract spiders.

We rent, but every season change, my landlord has a pest control come out.
Our main issue here is wolf spiders & brown recluse. I mean, The pest control does their thing, but I still see them around.
A few weeks ago there was a brown recluse on my wall that was legitimately the size of my palm🤮
In all my life the only thing I’ve killed without thinking is a wasp... I hate those motherfuckers.. but recently I’ve definitely turned into a spider smasher.

omg i feel for you! I would live in panic bc my fear for spiders is on another level. I got bit by a brown recluse and my skin was in the beginning stages of necrosis. This was years ago when I was like 19 but it was enough to traumatize me! I feel like the west coast insects are a diff breed! Good luck!

I feel you! I’ve been killing them left & right! I was just sitting on the couch with my youngest & one decided to show it’s ugly face & crawl on me 😭 I almost died lol

The joys of living in the desert. We get those and scorpions. Pest control can come but once the season start to change all those little critters come out.
