Kobi(My German Shepard) HATES the leash ! She wines and cries a lot while on it. But I know if I keep taking it off of her while walking , it’s going to take me longer to leash train .

@rainbowmami Purina makes these little chewy bites that are 2.5 calories a piece. I swear it is flavored play doh, but our lab LOVES them and you can reward a lot and they won't get chunky. Training bits I believe they are called. I used to have a little cheap dollar tree purse I kept.them in on walks and let her have plenty.

How old is she ? She’ll get used to it . Keep taking her on walks ! Eventually she’ll get excited to see it . Cause she’ll know it means time to go out !
@rainbowmami, yeah she’s still got a lot of time to learn . Normally I dont see pups going to their forever homes til 8-12 weeks . She’ll get there . Just be patient lol training puppies are annoying , but they adapt quick !

Tricks for treats. Get little crunchy treats and keep a handful. Let her smell and occasionally give her one. Eventually you won't need the treats but she will stay by your side watching you.
